I’m so excited to be a part of the Styled for Spring Home Tour hosted by Decor Gold Designs and Randi Garrett Design. I’m seriously so happy to be amongst these incredible bloggers. A special welcome to those that have come over from Maison De Pax…wasn’t her tour amazing?!
I spent so much of winter smitten with pink that I felt like I needed to pull a 180 and head into the cool tones, so my Styled for Spring Home Tour is all about coastal cool blues and greens with modern touches.
The biggest change and most exciting new addition to my living room space are my pillows from Tonic Living. They are so fresh and have managed to change the vibe of the entire home. The two pillows featured below are their “Swaying Palms” and “Shibori“. The pillows are custom made, so I opted for brass exposed zippers and their insert. You have to order these…I can’t even tell you how gorgeous they are in person.
Aside from my pillows, I shopped my home to get things feeling fresh and coastal. The only big edit was switching out the pink runner in front of my fireplace. I already had this RugsUSA blue runner, but it was under my console table. Needless to say, I’ll be ordering a few more blue runners for the rest of my house…obsessed!
I kind of love putting pillows in baskets, lately. It looks so lived in, layered, and inviting, as well as lets you add pops of colour and pattern just about anywhere. This basket is from Canadian Tire and I love the size…I keep moving it around the house, it looks good everywhere. This pillow isn’t from Tonic Living, but I was shopping the site today and noticed a similar pillow so I’ve linked it here.
You might recognize this pentagon terrarium from my Christmas and Valentine’s home tours. At Christmas it had ornaments and at Valentine’s I had candy hearts and flowers in them. Now I styled it for spring with some seashells and totally changed the look again.I added touches of Spring to the hall console table by adding shells to glass vases and editing out any pink touches. The console table is actually an antique work bench that I found in the basement in one of the houses we bought to renovate…such a treasure. I love how it adds character to this new space.
I also added a Shibori pillow to the vintage chair, beside the console table. I have a few chairs sitting up against the wall with pillows on them in my home; it’s a great way to add layers, colour, and achieve a finished look. I found this spool of rope and the vintage army cooler at an estate sale in Detroit.

I honestly can’t believe the difference in how the home feels by switching up the colour. It’s also such a testament to the value of buying all the main pieces in neutral colours and painting walls white…the mini overhaul possibilities are endless now!
I can’t wait to show you how I’ve changed up the rest of my home, and I’ve also got a pretty unbelievable patio makeover underway, so please subscribe to stay up to date with the latest.
