You guys, I’m so excited to show you some Master Bedroom Updates that I made to our space with Wayfair Canada. When I first did our master bedroom reveal, I never showed you guys the wall opposite to our bed. That’s because there wasn’t anything to show! That’s a total blogger trick, just don’t show the views that aren’t done! lol! Well no more cheating, now you can see the full space, and it’s not empty anymore thanks to Wayfair Canada and a gorgeous new console table!! EEEP!
Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Wayfair Canada. As always, all of the opinions here are my own. Some of the links below are affiliate links. All linked items are ones that I truly love, fit my style, and would use in my own home.
You have to see the console table that I added, from Magnolia Home by Johanna Gaines, that I found on Wayfair Canada. I put a mirror over it that I already had and shopped my house to style it. The colour of the wood, the distressing, and the clean lines make it the perfect console table to style. I could see putting this piece literally anywhere in our house, that’s how versatile it is.
Why I’m Obsessed with Buying from Wayfair Canada
As a Canadian, we have like ummm hardly any ways to ship amazing furniture to ourselves, so Wayfair Canada is a Godsend y’all! If you have not ordered you’ll be blown away. Free shipping on everything including massive furniture AND no taxes or duties applied after the fact- which never happens for us in Canada. Like the price is the price and that’s it. (You know what I’m talking about if you’re Canadian!!) Even better than shipping, is the customer service. You won’t believe it until you experience it. If there is any problem whatsoever with your order they will send you a new one and quickly. I mean it’s unreal. It takes the “customer is always right” to a level you would not believe and gives you total peace of mind. I try to purchase on Wayfair Canada over anywhere else for the peace of mind and free shipping (even on furniture!) with no duties or taxes added ever, not to mention the selection…it’s a slam dunk.
Vintage Lamps Styled on My Favourite Bedside Tables from Wayfair
One of the questions I get asked the most about our bedroom is where to find the bedside tables. These are the Marilyn Chest by Gabby from Wayfair and are absolutely a designer and home decor blogger favourite…I bet you’ve seen them in so many of your favourite Pinterest worthy spaces. I can’t even really put into words how much I recommend them. They are so substantial and have so much storage. They are a show stopper.
Did you notice the new vintage lamps?? I don’t know if you saw my Instagram story about them, but I found them on Marketplace and I had my husband, Matt, pick them up for me and he was like whaaaaat? You have to watch these stories, he cracks me up…he thinks they are so ugly…but he’s so wrong, right?!! Honestly, I think the lamps have such a fun “of-the-moment” Studio McGee vibe that I had to get them? What do you guys think of them? Are you #teamlamp ?? lol!
Mirror over Console Table = Amazing View
I’m obsessed with the new view and vibe of seeing the new windows, lamp, and bedding in the mirror across from the bed! Before I added the console table and mirror I couldn’t see a dang thing reflected back…love it for getting ready in front of too! Do you have wall space that could fit a console table in your bedroom, it would make a great dressing table if I added a stool. Keeping your jewelry on it would be really nice too.
Here’s a view of the entire wall opposite the bed, I’ve never showed this view to you guys till now!
My husband and I have matching dressers across from each other. We are Konmari fanatics and fold all of our clothes and it all fits. We also have a walk-in closet that we turned into a “cloffice” just outside the door pictured above. I’m super excited to share his office soon. I’ve got all the furniture, rug, and a killer light and I’m just waiting on doing a board-n-batten detail on the walls and then painting it dark and moody. As I type right now, I have a view of Matt working on his real estate in his “cloffice”. In case you’re like, “what the heck is a cloffice”. Well it’s a closet/office lol…Well ours is an empty room with big windows set up as an office…but ya get the idea.
Our flushmount ceiling light can also be found on Wayfair, shop it here.
One last close-up look at the new console table of dreams…sigh…
Have you seen the full Master Bedroom Reno Reveal and all the crazy before pics? I’ll link it here, in case you haven’t seen it!
What do you think of the new console table?

Absolutely Stunning! I have been following you a long time and I love everything you do! You have inspired me to paint every room in our little 8 year old retirement house that lovely Snowy Owl colour. Did you use the same colour for the trim? I just love it.
leslie says
Hi Patricia,
thank you so much! That’s so awesome, you will love the colour so much in your home! Yes the trim is the same colour. I used it everywhere in the whole house, just different sheens for different applications. We used Satin in our bedroom for the trim/walls because they are so covered in trim and we used flat on the ceiling.

Beautiful ! How difficult is it to hang anything on your gorgeous walls? Do you use a nail? That would make my husband anxious! Blessings!
leslie says
Lol…that’s too cute! I don’t make many! lol…but I use a screw and when something has two places to hang it from on the back like this mirror then I use a picture hanging wire, so I only have to make one hole! lol 😉

Beautiful room. Is that plant real or fake?
leslie says
Thank you so much! That Bird of Paradise tree is faux and it’s from Decors Veronneau 😉

Such a stunning space! I love the mirror – do you have an affiliate link for it?
leslie says
Hi thank you so much! I don’t have a link for it. The store I got it at no longer has it on their website. (it was a couple years ago, sorry!)
