Our Kitchen Flushmounts
I put a row of flush mounts in our new kitchen! We had originally planned to have 3 pot lights in front of our range area and suddenly I was like, “oh my gosh these should be flush mounts! How gorgeous would three pretty fixtures be instead of post lights?!” So we switched them to boxes and I searched the universe for a flush mount with the perfect look and feel and I found these! I love them so much! I love the look of the flush mounts all in a row from the side, which is a view that you’ll see in my upcoming full kitchen reveal! Steal vs Splurge: Flush Mounts
I seriously have 4 of the scalloped flush mounts– 1 in our entry, 1 in our pantry, and I put one in both of our girls’ rooms. I just adore them. They were also the runner up for in front of the range where I put the beaded flush mounts. I bought them all at the same time from the same store and then decided once I had them in the space. I love them both!
Design Epiphany: Pot Lights are Not Free Either!
Oh my gosh it’s crazy, if you’re building a house- check what your builder charges per pot light…it can easily be 100-120 bucks each! So when you’re thinking of your flush mount cost, you can subtract that from it and then it’s not much more for a major statement upgrade!
