I’m so proud to share this coastal bathroom reno with you guys! We started out with a tricky space that had a really sloped ceiling with only a tub, and managed to fit all the things into it (without stealing even an inch of space from other rooms, just really rethinking the space we had)! This was a really big reno, but so worth it in the end, for how functional it turned out! This is our ensuite bathroom. Come see how it started out!
Originally, you had to walk through the bathroom to get to the ensuite, which meant I had to figure out closing two doors, and adding a third to fit a large shower and double vanity amidst a super sloped ceiling! Here’s a few before pics.

Coastal Bathroom Reno After!
Plumbing Fixtures
Thank you so much to Delta Faucet for working together on this space. For this bathroom, I chose my all time favourite fixture collection, known as the Cassidy Collection in Champagne Bronze with cross handles! I used these exact faucets in two other homes and I can’t get enough!! They feel so high end and timeless. I am, however, really liking this exact faucet and Cassidy family in polished nickel a lot right now…you can’t go wrong with either finish, in my opinion!
Check Out My Other Bathroom Renovations
I actually used the polished nickel collection in a renovation I did in our Modern French Country Ensuite reno from a couple years back, and you can check that out, here.
You can see this faucet collection in Champagne Bronze in our Airy Modern Feminine Bathroom Reno and in our Striped Marble Bathroom Reno!
Bespoke Hardware
One of my favourite details in this bathroom is the boutique hardware that we upgraded out vanity with! When I saw these stunners from Lauren Haskell designs I almost died, especially since the motif is almost the same on the cabinets and the backplates! Best part- you can get the tassels in any colour to match your space!
Artificial California Palm and Stems
Another one of my favourite details that adds a lot of coastal vibes to the space is the faux California Palm that I have in the corner in a vintage rattan plant stand. I love the energy it gives to the bathroom. The artificial Bird of Paradise leaves styled in the glass vase add a clean and easy breezy coastal vibe to the space too.
What do you guys think of the new space? I still have some things I would to do, like add a wallpaper…but nothing says I can’t down the road, at least. the hard part is done now at last!
Marble Floors
Ok, one more fav detail…the marble herringbone floor is so special. They no longer make this tile in this size and shape, so it’s one of a kind. I know it’s a splurge but I really feel that real marble has such a special aura and I love incorporating it in a bathroom whenever I can. Thank you Sergio for working with marble because, from a labor stand point, it’s a much more involved process than ceramic!
What’s Your Favourite Bathroom Reno that We Did?
This is my 7th bathroom reno I think…omg…that’s a lot. I’ve narrowed it down to your favs, which did you like the best from these: Modern French Country Ensuite, Airy Modern Feminine Bathroom, Striped Marble Bathroom, or the Modern Boho Bathroom Renovation? What would you like to see more of?

It’s beautiful! I just purchased the entire Delta Cassidy collection after falling in love with it from your modern airy bath Reno -picked it up yesterday and it’s gorgeous! Those cross handles are everything 😍. Can you tell me what light fixtures you have in this bathroom? I am trying to find sconces with the same tone. This bathroom is gorgeous!

Oh my gosh that is so awesome that you got them! Your bathroom is going to be gorgeous! I totally agree the cross handles are everything!! The light fixtures I have in here also come in a brass like the faucets and would look so good! These are called the Reed sconce and they are by Visual Comfort. Thank you so much for kind words about the new ensuite!

Gorgeous! I’m curious what colour of paint you used? I recently moved into a new place and CANNOT decide on a paint colour! I love how light the colours are that you choose for your rooms!
