My Chinoiserie Wallpaper Collaboration Reveal

I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to show you something! You guys, I have my own Wallpaper collaboration! Together with Wallpaperie my visions for the perfect wallpapers came to life. After months of going back and forth through the wallpaper design process, the final sample arrived and it was better than I could have ever imagined! We all had to take pics with the sample!! Penelope even asked me to get a pic of her and her babies with it! So cute! And Juliette had me take photos of her doing her dance moves in front of it! Such a special moment!

Avignon: Allover pattern

This collection has two Wallpapers Avignon and Giverny. Avignon is an allover pattern perfect for spaces like my mudroom where I don’t have full height walls, or a powder room, or smaller space where it will be blocked by furniture.

This paper has all the things! A linen textured background, large oversized pattern, and the perfects shades of blush, dusty blue, greys, and grey greens!

Giverny: Traditional Mural

Giverny is a 7 panel repeating mural-style wallpaper that will wrap a full room seamlessly. Can you even imagine this paper in a dining room….I can’t wait to show you where I’m going to install it! You’ll never guess!

High End Custom Look and Customer Service

The pattern is such a gorgeous large scale, which is what gives it the super high-end look. The owner and creator, Amy, really explained that custom mural wallpaper has multiple panels before repeating, to capture a large pattern.

So when you order Avignon it comes labelled at the bottom alternating in panel 1 and panel 2. That means you alternate panels when you put it up, and that’s what is so high-end and fabulous about this! Normally, that would be so incredibly expensive but it’s not- the owner Amy has got figuring out how to do high-end custom customer service for people on a budget down to a science. It’s like completely unheard of! When you read the Wallpaperie reveiws, you’ll see what I mean! People are freaking out!

Create You Own Custom Colorway

Yes like seriously you can customize the paper to any colours in your space! So if you want a different background colour or completely different colours you can do that…this is unheard of, it’s so freaking cool!

Order Your Wallpaper to Size

One of the most amazing things about Wallpaperie is you order your panels to size, so there can virtually be almost no waste. In the case of my mudroom space, the short walls above the panelling were only 36″ and we were able to order 42″ panels, whereas if you could only order rolls, you would constantly have lots of waste matching up a large pattern like this.

How to Measure for a Tricky Spot

Ok so, this space was so Tricky! The walls just never seemed to end, so there was not a clear spot to finish right within the mudroom, and the ceilings were so many different heights…it was intimidating!

Amy walked me through exactly how to measure and order my paper, and even made me a diagram from my measurements! You can see the measurements that I provided and the layout she created below! Are you kidding me? This is a customer service experience that I will never forget!

Installing The Wallpaper

I ordered the pre-pasted as both myself and my Installer (A.K.A. Matt’s best friend, business partner, our Contractor, and one of my Fav people of all time, Matt Cornies, says pre-pasted is the way to go! (They also sell peel n’ stick which is such an awesome option too!)

To install pre-pasted paper, you simply spray down the back with a spray bottle of water till soaked then apply it to the wall.
